We’re excited to announce the launch of this 20th anniversary edition of Slingo, celebrating the success that the classic combination of slots and bingo has enjoyed over the years. The name speaks for itself – Slingo Classic is going back to basics, allowing the compelling mechanic and much loved features to shine through. The retro cartoon-style design harks back to where it all began and cements slingo’s position as a classic in the gaming world.
Slingo fans that have followed the game’s progress throughout the years will know the drill by now. Spin the slot reel to eliminate numbers from the 5×5 grid, aiming to mark off 5 in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally (a slingo). Each slingo completed will award a prize determined by the paytable, and familiar special symbols have been given a cartoon makeover for the anniversary party. Jokers allow players to mark off any number from the column above, whilst Super Jokers can eliminate any number from the entire grid. 3 or more Jokers/Super Jokers landing in one spin will award a prize.
Players can also look out for ‘Coin’ symbols, which award a cash prize, and ‘Free Spin’ symbols which grant an extra spin. Beware of the ‘Devil’ – it can block matches on the grid. When the initial 11 spins are over, players can purchase up to 8 extra spins for more opportunities to achieve slingos.
